Less is More Wk 4 3 squares.

A quick visit from me today as l have lots to catch up on. Finally heard from my family in Christchurch - l was getting very worried and they are all safe and well and the house is still intact and undamaged.

My sister is having her bone scan tonight and we are praying the cancer has not gone anywhere else. Thank you for all your good wishes.

The card is for a challenge over on Less Is Moore Wk 4 to use 3 squares.

Pattern inked )kaeidocolor Berry Blaze) with a brayer using a Cover a Card stamp called flourishes and cut down to small squares. Mounted on pink card and a bit of glamour dust added as well as a small butterfly stamp by Stampin Up.

The sentiment is also by Stampin Up and the ribbon is a 'happy accident' as l smudged ink oops.

Two Challenges, one card

Good afternoon all. Been to the dentist this morning for a tooth removing - it was dreadful as it had a large abcess attached. Less of the gory details and on with the card

I love this image from Lili of the Valley and there challenge is favourite colours - well l just had to use pink. I have so much stash it is obscene and l keep finding things l forgot l had.

How many of you have bought goodybags from craftwork cards at shows and not used them - lots of heads nodding out there. I have......a few!!!

These papers are gorgeous and the card is from the same pack so they all match lovely.

Gone to town with all the pinkness, the sentiment is also LOTV.

Miserable Monday

The weather here today has been horrible with drizzle and grey sky all day. Lets hope tomorrow will be a bit brighter. Have just had a look around blogland and there are some super cards.

My card today is for a new challenge over on docrafts it is Lili of The Valley. The stamps are beautiful and l am enjoying using them.

The theme for this challenge is friendship and l have used a LOTV sentiment.

Coloured with Prisma pencils (still in the practice stage)

Papers Dove craft A Piece of Cake.

The flowers are from a Go Create Die that l did not know l had and have never used - think it came with my cuttlebug package a couple of years ago.

Hello everyone. Hope you are having a good weekend.

Over the last couple of weeks l have seen loads of cards with Less is more and just love the simplicity of them so l decided to have go... here is the result.

The image l have had for ages and only used once or twice before, it is by Elusive Images and the sentiment is also part of the set.

I even had a go at embossing the edge - which l have never done before either

I am entering this into 2 challenges if l can manage the linking bit

Christmas Again

Had a few technical problems with my background but with the help and advice from Pickle on do crafts it is now sorted (thank you) and l should have my new pink dottie background applied.

Still not getting here as often as l would like and that will probably be the trend until the little ones are in nursery regularly.

The card... is for wk 6 on Snoflakes challenge on DC. I have had this WOJ stamp for ages (maybe a year or more) and never used it. I have a very large box of unused stamps that l need to use.

I think blue is so elegant for christmas cards, l have coloured her with copics and with my new prisma pencils which arrived last week, still at the practising stage. Kept this one simple.

Had a drive out yesterday to Samuel Taylors at Embsay (first time l've been) and met the lovely Katy and as my colouring skills need developing l have booked onto her workshop in May and l am looking forward to it.

Happy crafting everyone x Susan x

Hello Peeps - hope everyone is well and enjoying some crafting time. Not had much time this last week and still on catch up after not feeling too well.

This card is an order for my friend Jean for her friends 70th birthday - she wanted flowers and mauve - hope it fits the bill.

while on DoCrafts chat forum Katy from Samuel Taylors posted a challenge to use copics and a chance to win a wallet and a few copics so l am entering this card as it is coloured with copics., l also coloured pearls and flowers with copics to match.
