As l am still getting to grips with my new sparkle pens l went for a simple background and stamped the silhouette flowers on the bottom, the butterfly is an old stamp by Creative Expressions l have had for years and not used - to be honest is was in my get rid of bag and l am glad l kept it. The butterfly background is also coloured with sparkle pens and love the shimmery effect it gives, l stamped with a clear ink and embossed with a silver powder.

Here is another stamp set that l have not used in a while, l stamped the bamboo in versamark and added white embossing powder which l heated. Next l added the blue ink to the card, a bit of random word stamping finished the background off nicely. I am quite pleased with how this turned out as it was a requested card to have dragonflies and be blue.

We have had another bitterly cold week here in Moray with a bit of snow early in the week but nothing significant, nice and cosy in front of the log burner. Earlier in the week I spoke to my niece who lives out in Grand Cayman and they have hot weather all year round - l think l would miss the seasons and l am sure she does too. I have a holiday coming up soon in the caribbean unfortunately it does not take in Cayman. Maybe next year l will fly out to visit her.

Have you all had a good Week? The weather here up in Moray has been very cold but we have been lucky with only a slight dusting of snow.  I have a holiday coming up soon and never felt as much in need of a holiday as l do at the moment. I have kept this card simple as l think the heart says it all, it is a lovely stamp with fine details but always stamps perfectly. I did rub the card with my anti static bag as sometimes l find white detail powder spreads more than l want it too and would have shown on the red card.

For this week's card l decided to get a bit inky and have a play. I have had these stamps for about 7/8 years l am ashamed to say in they were still in the packet unopened, it is a lovely A4 sheet by Elusive images ( don't think they are still trading).
