Parisian Stroll

Hello lovely crafty friends, hope you have had a good start to the week. I had a little play in my crafty den yesterday making another card for a march birthday - onto april soon.
We have had a lovely day up here with the sun shining and a breeze, so nice to get the towels out on the line to dry - it is the little things in life that make me happy ;)
I recently bought this stamp from a friend and knew l had the perfect papers to use and even decorated the inside. Hope you like it.

I am well on track for completing my March birthday cards before l head off on my hols. This card is for my son in law who celebrates his birthday today - perfect image as he likes the odd glass or three.

I have had the set of Flippin Stamps for years and many of them unused.

Sugar Nellie Charlotte.

Hello my lovely crafty friends, hope you are all having a lovely weekend. As the weather has been quite mixed here l decided to spend yesterday in my craft room.
I was lucky this week as Random Org picked my number over at Allsorts, this weeks challenge is Girly so l had no hesitation in getting some pretty stash out as l love a bit of pink and girly.

When my grand daughter came this week she noticed l have been back in the craft room, when l told her l am working my way through the calender she said she hoped l was soon on May.  This card is for Esther and l can share it with you as she does not see my blog.

Bluebells

Hello lovely crafty friends, hope you have all had a good week and managed to survive the bad weather, wonder what storm this weekend is going to bring.
All is well here although it has been windy all week, a good excuse to stay indoors nice and cosy.
A couple of weeks to go till l am on my jollies soaking up some much needed sun, need to start my packing this weekend.
Onto my card for today, First time using this stamp and was not sure what to do with it. I used a stencil to create the background then stamped the bluebell, coloured with copics and added a bit of glamour dust. It has gone off to a friend and l just added a happy birthday to the front.

So onto today's offering, l coloured this little beauty up a couple of weeks ago, she is one of my all time favourite stamps and l love to spend a couple of hours on this one but l think l spent even more time pushing around papers and embellishments until l was happy.

Lavender House Mouse

Hello my lovely crafty friends - hope you all stayed safe. We were very lucky and it was not too bad here just a few hours of gusty winds.

Have just seen on the news this lunchtime a search team of 24 had to go out to top of Ben Nevis yesterday to rescue 4 foreign nationals that had got into difficulty - no winter kit and 3 wearing trainers - when will people learn, you would not even wear trainers in summer up there. They are putting other experienced climbers lives at risk. Absolute lunatics.

I am nice and cosy in my craft room today, so thought l would share this card l made at the weekend. When colouring this one of my green pens decided to leak so to cover the blob l put in some grass - hey presto covered !

Love Is In The Air

Hello my lovely crafty friends, hope you are all staying safe in Storm Ciara. We had strong winds yesterday, today is very grey and windy with a bit of rain mixed in but not as strong as we are expecting - hopefully we will be lucky and it bypasses.

Friday l went to the theatre in Inverness to see The Buddy Holly Story with my grandson and we both loved it - a great show and all the cast were amazing.

As it is the week of love l am sharing this adorable little cutie from LOTV.

Vintage Christmas

Hello my lovely crafty friends. Hope you are having a good week and managing to fit some crafty time in.
Just back indoors after taking my fluffy boy out for his walk, we are very lucky to have woodlands just over the road so he can have a good sniff around. A nice day so long as you are wrapped up warm, no snow yet this winter.
Today l am sharing a vintage christmas card, l love this stamp and just added a little touch of green to lift it a bit. Another one for the christmas box - determined not to have to buy a single card this year.

Hummingbird

Hello lovely crafters. Well, it has been a week since l ventured back into my craft room and l have to say l am enjoying myself again.
Not much excitement this week but l am looking forward to going to see Buddy in Inverness on friday and my 12 year old grandson is coming too as he loves his music.
Today l have used a stamp that has been sitting in the 'to use for the first time' basket. The stamp was challenging to colour as it is a large one, l am happy with the colours l have used and the paper matches perfectly.
The weather has been a bit miserable this week but on the up side it is getting much lighter and spring not too far away.
Thank you to all for visiting my blog over the last week, so nice to see many of my blog buddies still here.
I have cut out the hummingbird to give it some depth and make it look like it is hovering over the hibiscus.

Here at Last

It is hard to believe l have not been here for so long, my last post was October 2018. I only made one birthday card last year and not a single christmas card. I have lost all confidence in my craft room and decided it is time l got back in there as my stash is just gathering dust.
I have gone for a clean and simple card to get me started, using this gorgeous Penny Black stamp designed by Mo Manning.
