Merry Christmas Quickies

Hello my lovelies hope you have had a good weekend.  I must say mine has been rather pleasent - l have managed some more quick christmas cards - ideal for posting which l will share with you this week.
After all the miserable weather we have had this week today has been lovely so l have had sometime outside - a couple of weeks ago l bought some packs of tulips from M&S that had been reduced - 24 for £1.25 l got two packs and managed to get them planted today, so we should have a good show of bulbs in the spring.  The snowdrops are already poking through the soil and l had to be really careful when hoeing, l am hoping the weather stays dry this week to get a bit more done
Anyway l am here to share these quick cards l made a couple of days ago, I used my fav background stamp - Cover a Card snowflake.  When l looked for a snowflake die l did not realise l had so many - note to self do not buy anymore snowflakes you have enough to create a snowstorm lol.

Stamp Cover a card Snowflake
Ink Stampin Up Cherry Cobbler
Die - Memory Box
Gems, stickles, glitter paper, twine

I have quite a few MDF pieces l want to decorate - could anyone please tell me what you use to paint them before decorating???
I have half my christmas shopping done and wrapped and l am going shopping tomorrow, hopefully l will get the rest done and then it will be time to sort out cards and start writing them out, hope you all have a good week x Susan x

Heart Wreath

Hello my lovely crafty friends, l hope you are all having a good week.  I thought l had better get a move on and make my 'ideal for posting' cards so l set too last night and stamped this lovely Heart Wreath from Chloe's up four times and made them all different although l did get carried away and added some embellishments.  They all have red stickles for the berries and are lovely and sparkly but the photo does not really show it. The sentiment in the centre is from LOTV

I bought this stamp last year because l loved it but had not used it as the more l looked at it the more l was afraid of colouring it.  Yesterday l thought today is the day for this beauty as it does not need anything really except the stamp - l am quite pleased with it although it did take a long time to colour

Penny Black & More @ Allsorts Midway

Hello my lovely crafty friends, l am here with a midway reminder for the challenge Penny Black & More @ Allsorts  and this month the challenge is  Anything Goes (except digi images)  Your main focal point must be stamped.

I need to get a move on with some christmas cards that are ideal for posting and this fits the bill perfectly.  I stamped the tree and snowflakes in clear and embossed in a White WOW embossing powder, l then inked up the background with distress ink and added gems to the snowflakes and red stickles to the tree, l stamped the sentiment separately and cut a tail and added on a bit of foam. Quick and easy and perfect for posting.

The design team as always have some gorgeous pieces to share with you over on the challenge blog here along with all the details and sponsors.

I made a second one with sequins but l think l prefer the stickles
