Busy day today

It has been one of those days where l seem to have got lots done. Shopped for holiday toiletries and got hubbys clothes ready and l hope to get them in a case later tonight. Went to allotment - dug up some lovely potatoes, picked broad bean and courgettes as well as some weeding done.

Also did a bit more weeding in the garden at home and picked a variety of flowers to take over to Davids grave. The cemetry is only 2 mins from my house and l can even see it from the window in winter when the leaves are off the trees.

Even managed a card:-

Fizzy Moon with star, l think this image is so cute and easy to work with. Papers are back to basics and card is stampin up, the bow is a stamp by LOTV.

Thank you for stopping by and hope you have had a good day whatever you have been doing. x Susan x

Late with a card Again

Yesterday was my nieces 21st birthday - l love her to bits but could not be bothered at all yesterday so got hubby to ring and apologise. First thing this morning l got my act together and made her card. This is the first time l have used this stamp and it is so Abbygail even down to her new hair colour. Why are the young ones paying to have theie hair grey???? Mine is totally grey at 50 and l don't mind it at all. She is having a party on saturday with a champagne reception but am not sure if l am up parties just yet.

I enjoyed colouring the image, there is something theraputic in it. I hope to drop back this evening and catch up on some blogs but please forgive me if l don't as things still very difficult at the moment, there is not an hour goes by where l don't miss David x

Catching up with Christmas

I have had a couple of hours in the allotment with my thoughts today, a couple more hours crafting and an hour in the garden weeding and still plenty to do.

I think we may be cancelling christmas this year. I joined a challenge over on do crafts for a christmas card each week and am behind and just trying to catch up a bit. I have three cards today all using stamps from nitwits - this one is using the sweet little deer, he looks like he is floating so have grounded him on some polar white flowersoft.

Stamp - Nitwits Collection, coloured with copics, Sentiment LOTV

Paper - Dovecraft

Card - Stampin Up /Cherry Cobbler

Thank you for dropping by and if anyone can tell how to get my 66 followers back and showing l would be very grateful. x Susan x

Trying to get back into things

For those who have followed my blog you will know from the previous post that my son was knocked down by a car. Very sadly David passed away on 4th July having made no recovery or responses, this has been the most traumatic and devastating time of my life and something l don't think l will ever come to terms with. We loved him with all our hearts and miss him every minute of the day and night. No one can ever know the pain and hurt unless they have lost a child themselves.

I have had some time crafting over the last week and here is a card l made for the Bah Humbug Challenge wk 29 - Beads ( if l can remember how to load it.)

Stamp - Penny Black / Fantasy

Embossed Fine White Detail powder

Pink Beads
