Hope you are all having a good weekend. Today l can share with the world l am a Grandma again - no.8 a little girl arrived yesterday teatime weighing in at 8lb 12 ozs. Mother & baby both doing well.
   Saturday again and that means the start of the new challenge over at Allsorts.  This week my lovely teamie Helene is the host and she has chosen

As Blue as The Ocean

You can interpretate this as you wish - colour blue, the ocean it is up to you.

As it is a special lady's birthday today my blue had to be poppies, love meconopsis they are a stunning flower but l have never been able to grow them.  I have had success with day lilies though when l found a seed pod in the spring l put them in a pot and they have germinated so maybe in about two years they will flower :)

The design team have some amazing inspiration to share with you over on the challenge here along with all the details.  As l was short of time l went for CAS using a stamp from LOTV which l coloured with copics, l stamped the sentiment then masked them both and laid a stencil over and added structure paste and glamour dust before it dried - another one for the christmas box.

If any of you have noticed l have not been around much it is because l am spending so much time outside either in my allotment or garden so l though l would share some recent photos of my back garden.

This is the gorgeous display of Alliums, aqualiguas, and wall flowers, a riot of colour and l was very pleased with this border - my neighbours kept coming round to look.

This is a pretty geranium l have had a long time, l think it is called splish splash - it is a very large plant and l will take a photo when it is all in bloom.

Toby keeping guard around the pond - l am amazed he has never fallen in.

Still no news on the new baby - looks like the hospital have a different day to my daughter - in her mind she is two weeks over and absolutely enormous.
