This is the first time l have used this stamp - shame on me lol. It is part of the Autumn 2009 Kit and l have only just cut into it. I loved colouring this image and will certainly be using her again.

Christmas Dance

Happy Saturday to you all, all faith l had in the weather man has gone, he promised a dry day today - he lied it has rained.
Anyway after spending much of my day taking and collecting my son and friend from here there and everywhere it is now my time. My wedding anniversary today and l have not even made hubby a card - how bad am l. Just had a chinese takeaway for tea and l feel as full as an egg.

Perfect Weather for......Crafting

We are all nice and toastie warm after the heating boiler has been repaired and sweet smelling too lol.  As the weather is horrendous l have spent a lot of time in my 'little den',  so here is an extra card today, l stitched around the edge of the card just to make sure my machine is ok.  Not a colour combo l have tried before but this is the challenge over at Ribbon Girls so l thought l would give it a whirl and it is ideal for this image.

Flowers for Mimi

Hope you are all well and enjoying some crafting x The stamp l am using today is yet again another from my unused box, l bought it a few weeks ago from Samuel Taylors (Brighouse) where they were selling off wood mounted stamps at half price, well we all love a bargain and l love my PB's so had to have it.  I love to create my own backgrounds as you can colour match everything perfectly when it all starts out as white card.

Tilda with Hearts

What a disaster yesterday turned out to be., the gas man was supposed to be coming 8-1 in the morning as we had no heating or hot water, BG rang at 12.45 to say man held up with a gas leak was it ok to come later....... at 3.15 hubby said water is ok and put heating on so l asked him to ring BG and cancel repair man. When  l came back from school pick up at 4 water and heating off...hubby rang to ask Bg to come after all but as we cancelled 10 mins earlier it would be tomorrow they said. Well tomorrow is here and gas man been and yes you guessed it needs a part and will be coming back tomorrow (wednesday) so no heating or water again and my l have never needed a bath so much in my life. Little electric heater on in craft room so nice and cosy in here.

Todays disaster my sewing machine was 30 years old last month it was a gift for my 21st birthday - my daughter borrowed it a couple of months ago. To get mine back l ended up buying her a machine, then when she returned mine it had a little 'accident' in the car which she did'nt tell me about and when l opened it the bobbin pin was broken off and you have to replace the whole bracket to repair and for those who said how old is the machine........... obsolite and parts no longer available anywhere (spent ages playing with Mr Google but no luck)  Hubby said "go treat yourself to a new one" while fiddling with the snapped off spool pin which is plastic just like the bracket.
He disappeared into the kitchen and returned asking if this will do.... he melted the bracket and pin to weld it back together.... yippee it works....asked if l can have the sewing machine money for crafty bits lol (no reply)

Daisy on her bike

Hello all you lovely people, hope you are having a good day.  This gorgeous stamp was a gift for my birthday from my lovely crafty friend Irene. This is the first time l have used her and she was lovely to colour. I have just realised l have forgot to put a sentiment on...silly me will have to do that later.
Got all the HW done this morning and am waiting for gas man to come as yesterday the boiler decided it did not want to work so we have no hot water or heating and l am just feeling a bit cold at the mo so added and extra layer.  Perhaps l should get on the Wii instead of sitting down lol

LOTV Baby

I was asked to do a Christening card at very short notice by my daughter and spent hours looking around digi land but could not find anything l really liked and l did not have any stamps in my file that l could use, picked up car keys to go to shop and then had a thought.... I wonder if l have anything in my unused box. This cute stamp from LOTV was in there and saved me a trip out and probably quite a bit of money too, l am sure you all know we crafters don't just go in and buy one stamp lol.
So a couple of hours after starting the card it has been made and collected and will be with baby tomorrow.  I have not put a sentiment on the front as l wanted to keep it clean, so have put a memory of the day inside.

Tatty Ted

Todays is one of those days when the weather just does not know what to do. Wind, rain, shine we are having it all. My eldest grandaughter stayed last night and was awake far too early this morning so another day of feeling shattered, but love them all to bits.

Boobie Love

Good evening everyone, the weekend is upon us again and l hope you all mange some crafting and me time.  I had a very busy day yesterday looking after our 2 youngest grandchildren and then dashed of to a craft club l go to every 2 weeks, hence no post yesterday although l did the round of blogs when l got home last night.  I made this card today for a few challenges and when l got the papers out l thought this is going to look rubbish but the more l added the better it looked, 2 of the challenges were digi's only and as this is my only digi there was no other choices but l do like this image - it is from Saturated Canary and was free, (Thank You Krista) she is called Boobie Love, and thoughts to all who are/have suffered in any way with breast cancer. x

Sweet Willow

What a dreadful day we have had with the weather rain, rain and more rain, just pleased l did not have to go out.  I made a get well card last night which was collected this morning and l forgot to take a photo.  So what have l been doing today? l have been playing in my den all afternoon and this is the result, l love this Willow stamp from WOJ and she has been very neglected in a box.  All the papers are from my scrap box which l have moved onto my desk to encourage me to use up some scraps.
It is my nieces birthday end of next week and for a change l am in front.  The photo is not very good because of the poor light today.

Snow Heart Tilda

I hope Mr Blogger is behaving tonight as this morning he was playing up and after many attempts at leaving comments l gave up... so please Mr Blogger behave yourself xx
Today seems to have flown by and l have not got much done but Tomorrows another Day, listen at me Scarlet O 'Hara (I wish lol) ..
Must tell you all l pass a place just a mile down the road from me a couple of times a week called Bedazzle Beads and have never been in, well...... l have now and l will be going back again regularly. Last week l ordered a few tibetan silver beads and bits to decorate pins and when l passed yesterday l wondered what they sold. I was like a child in a sweet shop, they stock the most amazing beads and lots of charms too, you can buy beads in packs as well as singularly. Charms and beads were 10p each    they had larger beads for jewellery making and l tried not to look. The sell online too. If anyone lives near Gomersal it is worth a visit.

Penny Black stamp berry Wreath embossed with gorgeous egyptian gold embossing powder by Judikins it has a lovely shine to it. Cut with circle nestie and gold scalloped nestie. White background embossed and mounted onto gold card. Where is the green???? The sentiment by Paula Pascaul is stamped in Old Olive ink from SU and the white background is distressed with bundled sage.  This is an ideal one for going in the post

Tilda in Spring Rain

Hello all you lovlies, just keeping things a bit brief this week until l pick myself up again x

It has been ages since this Tilda has seen the light of day and she is fitting to the April Showers we are having at the moment.
Tilda in Spring Rain coloured with copics and prisma pencils
Papers by K & Co, l have embossed around the green with cosmic shimmer embossing powder and the peachy coloured strip l have stamped with an Inkylicious script jst to give it a bit of lift. I followed  a sketch for this one and realised it should be oval and as l had been colouring her for almost 2 hours on a rectangle piece there was no way she was going to be oval so l cut  a large scalloped oval on the calibur.  I have added glossy accents to the raindrops and puddle.

Penguin Hugs

Hello all you lovely people. Hope you are all well and enjoying some crafty time. The snow here has almost gone now (thank goodness), l have just got back from taking my daughter SIL and two littleies to Manchester Airport - they sat on a plane for 2 hours on tuesday in Leeds before the flight was cancelled so fingers crossed this plane will fly.

My First Digi Card

I have come out of the dark ages lol, l have loved looking at all the digi images on cards and thought no l can't do that.... Last week l saw this gorgeous image by Krista from Saturated Canary and love it and it was free so l downloaded it then thought what do l do now ...l need a teenager... my son had to resize and put 4 to an A4, then  my friend Irene told me weeks ago leave overnight after printing for ink to properly dry. So here it is

I should add that this image was created to bring to light the aweness of Breast Cancer - hence the image name and ribbon.  We all know someone who has been affected by the terrible cancer - My Mum died in 1985 with it aged 44 years and suffered for 7 years. My sister and cousin both started treatment within a week of each other in March last year and l have friends who are survivers and are doing very well so ladies get em out and check your boobies lol x

I will not be neglecting my Rubbah fetish as there is something strangely satisfying with put stamp to ink to paper if you know what l mean??? x

Penny Black and More At Allsorts

I am so excited.... l have been invited by the talented Brenda to join the DT for Penny Black and More at Allsorts, this is my very first DT card and l hope you like it and it gives someone,somewhere, some inspiration.
