Top Five Christmas Cards

I have been quiet in the craft room over the last week so thought l would join Debby and show you my favourite 5 Christmas Creations for this year.  It has been a very difficult choice and could quite easily have 10 or more, l have put links on each one if you want to check out any details

The first one l made early in the year, this little cutie is called Christmas Dance by

I love the fun with this stamp by Stampendous - Trim Tree Kiddos

This one is a Penny Black stamp Hedgehog Kisses - not a christmas stamp but thought it was perfect for hubbies card ...awww 

This one is my favourite christmas stamp - a Whimsy Stamp called Berry and l loved colouring her she is just so pretty. I sent this to one of my closest friends as l know she keeps all my cards and it would be treasured.

This is another LOTV stamp called My Christmas Tree and again l loved colouring this one and he is just perfect for CAS

Whoops had to slip in an extra one........Again another Penny Black stamp Little Elf Finn designed by Mo Manning also available as a digi but as l have a rubber fetish only rubber would satisfy me lol.  I kept  this one simple and added a memory box die bauble.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my fav five, they are all ones l have enjoyed colouring with my copics and prismas.

Winter Wonderland

Hello my lovelies, Merry Christmas to you all.  Today is the new challenge over at Winter Wonderland and if you are fed up with Christmas cards you have the option of Non Christmas for the next couple of months -  or if you have forgotten someone's card or are a bit last minute then you might want to take some inspiration from the challenge blog here where the design team have some beautiful pieces to share with you - this week the new challenge is

Ages/dates whatever you want so long as there is a number somewhere on your project. 

I have stayed with the christmas theme - no surprise there then as l love making them and still have some stamps l have not yet used this year.

I love this cute little fella, l have added german glitter glass at the bottom to make it look as though he is walking on ice but it in not showing in the photo :(  After getting stung with postage costs this year l will be making more 'flat' cards for next year - wish l had bought shares in the post office.

Quick cards

Hello me lovelies, hope you christmas preparations are on track. I am almost done or so l thought until l got a text message from my cousin this morning saying she is coming over early next week to collect the 10 'special' christmas cards l have made for her - or not made as the case may be - oh dear .....l had better get a move on then as l had completely forgotten about them.  Apologies in advance if l don't visit you for a few days.

Winter Wonderland

Before l start my post today l hope you all stayed safe in the storms and did'nt have any damage.

Good morning my lovely friends, today sees the start of the new challenge over at Winter Wonderland - still time for those last christmas cards minute cards. The challenge this time is 

Embossing

Lots of options there then, team Snowflake have some stunning inspiration to share with you over on the challenge blog here along with the details.  I have used embossing powder around the image and just heated it and it gives a lovely snowy effect, l have also heat embossed the sentiment.  This is one of the bargain stamps l got at half price at the Harrogate show in october and she is a doll to colour- is'nt she pretty?

Computer Fun

Looks  like l am on a roll with my cards - 3 days & 3 cards - think l had better have a lie down lol.
I am trying to sort through my christmas cards and decide which card goes to people on my list, not an easy task, maybe next year l will write them as l go along.
So ..onto todays card, l made this at the weekend for one of my grandsons birthday, l left it to last minute and did not have much time to get it done. I bought the stamp from LOTV on saturday at the open day and l can see this one getting quite a bit of use for boys cards.

Snowy Postcard

Hello my lovely friends, hope you are all well and pacing yourselves for christmas.  I have almost finished with pressies, l have tried to get done early this year as it is a difficult time for me as we have so many happy memories of our son David and he loved christmas - so if l am prepared at least l can shut the door on the outside world if l need too. Anyway.... l made this card a couple of days ago and according to some we are in for a bit of snow soon so this may be a familiar scene. The photo does not really show all the sparkle :(

Penny Black & More

This year has flown by and here we are December - not long now until the big man in the red coat and the white fluffy beard will be making his way down our chimneys. We are almost ready in our house - the trees are up, most presents bought and wrapped, a few mince pies in the cupboard, bottles of bubbles and gin on standby :) just need a few more days to finish cards.
