Hello my lovely crafty friends. The first sunday of May is here so time for the new challenge over at Penny Black & More @ Allsorts and this month the challenge is

The Design Team have been hard at work with their Penny Blacks and have some gorgeous inspiration to share with you over on the challenge blog here along with all the details.  You can used any brand of stamp except digi (NO DIGI IMAGES), the focal point of your project must be stamped to be in with a chance of winning one of our fabulous prizes. One lucky winner using a Penny Black stamp will be chosen to be a Guest Designer on a future challenge.

I have used one of my cute Penny Black hedgie stamps, isn't it sweet and these old papers are a perfect match for the photo inspiration. I enjoyed making this card and decorated the inside too to finish it off nicely.

I am looking forward to the summer months and seeing poppies in the fields, at the moment we have lots of gorgeous yellow gorse on the hills and hedges - it looks very pretty but have you ever tried to cut it from your hedges ?? It is razor sharp and thorns that cut your hands to shreds, My neighbours say the farmer will cut the hedges at the bottom of the garden for a fee in the autumn. Nature is the most wonderful thing and the seasons just make me smile thinking of them, even though l love my winter holidays in the sun - l can't imagine life without seasons.
Thank you for stopping by and for your comments x Susan x

Nature is indeed a miracle Susan, still no sun here but yesterday we all donned coats and spent the day in the top paddock clearing a small spinney - well I just sort of hung around watching but was nice to get a day of fresh air.

A lovely card for the Poppy theme and really like the addition of the paper piecing elements.

Hope you have a good Sunday.

Love the fun sketch you used with this cute image! The die cut flowers and butterflies are so pretty too!

What a beautiful card Susan, such a sweet stamp and the paper pieced poppies look so pretty. I was looking across the fields just this afternoon marvelling at how green everything is, although we could really do with a drop of rain. We are lucky enough to have panoramic views here and never tire of what nature shares with us every day xx

Love how you decorated your card, I have that die and never thought to use it! Gorse sounds a nightmare I have enough with the other prickly things I have in the garden.
