Allsorts Challenge 415

It is saturday again and that can only mean the start of the new challenge over at Allsorts.  This week my lovely teamie Brenda is the host and she has chosen
Ring A Ring Of Roses

We want to see roses on your creation. Check out what my lovely teamies have to share with you here along with all the challenge details.

Stamp Papermania - Henbury
Coloured with copics
Papers Dovecraft
Gems. Ribbon, stickles.

We have two lovely prizes this week, a pretty paper pad by Dovecraft

and a beautiful stamp by Heartfelt Creations.

The stamp l have used for todays card has been in my unused box for ages and l thought it would be perfect for this challenge....quite a bit of rubber forms the image - if you know what l mean, so l first stamped with clear the used a green WOW embossing powder but it did not work with my copics and left an awful muddy mess. Next plan was use Momento London Fog which is a grey and worked better than the black. I found this a very difficult one to colour.

I am late preparing my post today, having a lovely day hopefully in the garden as the forecast is good for today. We have had some gorgeous weather this week and l am loving seeing what is growing in my new garden. I have bought a few new shrubs but am having a bit of a problem - one l have never had before. As the garden is so big l am struggling on where to put my plants and just seem to wander around for ages then end up putting them back in the wheelbarrow. The cherry blossom is absolutely full of blossom which started to fall in yesterdays breeze but l think the prettiest of all is the apple blossom. The veg plot l built is doing very well, l think the beans and peas need to be started off in cells to keep the mice away.

As you can see in the photo above my little Rosie has been to play. She loves to play Ring O Ring A Rosie with Grandma.

Enjoy your weekend whatever you are doing.

Hope to see you over on the challenge x Susan x

Your weather does seem to be holding well Susan, we did get sunshine Wednesday but back to the gloomy cloud again now.

It does take some getting used to managing a big garden and I can understand your problem with shrubs, takes me back a good few years to when we planted the beds. Now we are at the stage the shrubs are well established and although I know they need harsh pruning always cringe when hubby lops them down several feet.

Love the soft peachy tones of your pretty card, perfect for this weeks theme.

You have made a great job of colouring those beautiful blooms Susan and they match the paper perfectly. A beautiful card. Our apple tree is still flowering although we have had some windy days so the lawn is covered in confetti. Lovely photos xx
