October Penny Black & More @ Allsorts

Hello my lovely crafty friends. I had a good day yesterday at Harrogate and a bit of a spend and will show you my goodies later.
The first sunday of the month is here so time for the new challenge over at Penny Black & More @ Allsorts and this month the challenge is

Get Ahead For Christmas
The Design Team have been hard at work with their Penny Blacks and have some gorgeous inspiration to share with you over on the challenge blog here along with all the details.  You can used any brand of stamp except digi (NO DIGI IMAGES), the focal point of your project must be stamped to be in with a chance of winning one of our fabulous prizes. One lucky person using a Penny Black stamp will be chosen to be a Guest Designer on a future challenge.
A nice easy challenge but l had a difficult choice of which of my PB's to use as l have a ...few..., l eventually went for A Thorny Affair - love that sweet hedgie.

A close of the sweet hedgie
Stamp - Penny Black A Thorny Affair
Coloured with copics and prisma pencils
Dies - Go Kreate for base, Marianne Designs - Holly

I have just realised when posting this .....you may think we are mad in our house but today we are having a full christmas dinner turkey and all the trimmings except hubby is making a chocolate roulade instead of pudding, the turkey has been sitting defrosting in the conservatory and is all ready to go - it will just about fit in the oven, it was  bargain l could not resist £45 reduced to £11 at Tesco last christmas. and has been sitting at the bottom of the freezer. The family are all coming around later.

I would like to enter this card  into the following challenges
MAWTT - Hedgehogs

Thank you for stopping by and for your comments x Susan x

Aw, thanks for reminding me I have this little cutie stored away somewhere. You've made such a darling card, the coloring is wonderful, and as always you have just THE right papers & embellies to dress it up so well. Loved the addition of the holly sprig and the white embossing on the background (or is that some frontage??) It's beautiful, whatever technique you did the process with. Glad you had a fun day with a delicious dinner! Not mad at all, just what you enjoyed doing. Yummy. TFS & Hugs.
