Keep Safe

I am just sat here watching the news and it is frightening - l hope you all stay home and safe. winds of 108 MPH recorded in Wales and motorways closing 250,000 homes without power in Ireland

Thank you for all your lovely comments regarding my appointment last week - the result was as l expected - l am at High risk of breast cancer so will be put back on the annual mamogram checks and on Tamoxafen as a precautionary measure - so thats that will just put it in a box and get on with a hopefully healthy future.

I was pleased to see one of my old blogging buddies posting yesterday after a very long absense, if you have not come across Katy before l hope you pay her a visit - see is one very talented lady, see her here and if you are reading this Katy please keep on posting x

Today l have a quick card to share with you using a Penny Black stamp which is always on standby for mens card

Stamp Penny Black Hedge-word
Coloured with copics
Paper Doodlebug
Ribbon, gems

Thanks for stopping by and for your comments x Susan x

Great card Susan, and I love it in the grey and black shades you have chosen. We have lost more panels from the tractor shed today...we are still waiting for the roofers to come and repair the hay barn roof that was damaged just before christmas. They haven't been because of the bad weather!! xx

This is a fabulous card Susan, I love your PB image - one of my favourites, your papers are perfect for a male card.
I'm sorry to hear that you are at high risk of breast cancer, it must be a worry, but you sound like you have a good attitude towards it.
Take care.

Terrific design, Susan. Love those sweet hedgies, that's a great stamp. The paper looks fab and I love how you have turned the stripes to give a different look.

The winds were so bad yesterday I was nearly blown off the road on my journey home from work. Fingers crossed better weather is coming!! And of course fingers crossed for your continued good health. Hugs xx

Hi & TFS for the update on your tests. I have 2 cousins who do the Tamaoxfen for long years now. It's best to know the risks, and take all preventive measures possible, and keep close watch. Loved this card. I have that stamp, used once for a friend who is a puzzle guru. Love how you used it with these neutral stripes and your faux stitching. So nifty. TFS & Hugs
