Winter Wonderland

Before l start my post today l hope you all stayed safe in the storms and did'nt have any damage.
Good morning my lovely friends, today sees the start of the new challenge over at Winter Wonderland - still time for those last christmas cards minute cards. The challenge this time is
Embossing
Lots of options there then, team Snowflake have some stunning inspiration to share with you over on the challenge blog here along with the details.  I have used embossing powder around the image and just heated it and it gives a lovely snowy effect, l have also heat embossed the sentiment.  This is one of the bargain stamps l got at half price at the Harrogate show in october and she is a doll to colour- is'nt she pretty?

Close up of my colouring which l am pleased with and below a close up of the embossing effect around the image.

Stamp Whimsy Heidi with sledge, sentiment Whimsy
Coloured with copics and prisma pencils
papers Dovecraft Christmas
Spellbinders Poinsettia, Tim Holtz snowflake border
Lace, glamour dust, stickles, gems.
Pearls The Hobby House
Silver embossing powder, puff white embossing powder

We have been generously sponsored by Crafty Ribbons and one lucky winner will receive a £10 voucher.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges
Papertake |Weekly Anything Goes

Thank you for stopping by and hope you join in with the challenge x Susan x

Your cards always combine so many pretty elements to create the 'whole'...it's a joy to look around & see how well each item blends with everything else. This is indeed a delightful image, and you colored it so beautifully. I enlarged the photos and your 'snow' embossing really gleamed just like the real stuff when the sun hits it. I am especially loving the lace & brilliant poinsettia too! TFS & Hugs. Hope your weather is good. We in the South are safe from the ice, but our Midwestern & Northern states are being hammered with ice and low temps.

A very sweet image and a gorgeous card. Beautiful soft colouring Susan, so sweet. As for storms, we had lots of wind and I now have a tree at a jaunty angle but otherwise we escaped the worst. Jx

Susan, hope you all weathered the storm & are all right !!!
This image just absolutely speaks to me!! My younger daughter has hair down past her bum & she has been wearing it in braids recently... Just adore this sweetie!!! :)) :))
I might ask you to stamp some off for me at some point & I can pay postage, etc... I'll try looking for this stamp first tho. :))
The layout, the ticket, the lace, it's all gorgeous!! Love the giant poinsettia bloom, too!! :))
