A Bit of Vintage

Welcome to my new follower Gina, lovely to have you stopping by.
Hope you have all had a good day. We have had a grandchildren day - no surprise there lol. This afternoon l have had some time in the allotment - digging potatoes, a really good crop this year and nothing has been nibbling them. I have pulled the onions to dry off and picked some blackcurrants. The strawberries have finished so the beds need tiding up and runners pegging down - a job for tomorrow.
I made this card the other night and thought l would have another go at vintage which l find difficult so putting in a bit of practice.

Stamp LOTV Background bits - Old Romance
Distress inks
papers Craftworks card Bohemian
Birdcage die (behind feather) marianne
Lace, flowers, pearl, stamens, pearl heart

The style is kinda growing on me.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-
papertake Weekly - Anything Goes (2nd)
Stamping Sensations Things with Wings & Touch of Vintage.

Thank you for stopping by and for your comments x Susan x

That makes 3 of us then. Vintage and steam punk, don't even know what that means! But as they say, practice makes perfect, and you have made a lovely card today Susan. Jx

Your lovely card doesn't look like you have trouble doing vintage! It's stunning. This just makes me think of an old timey ladies' boudoir scene. So very soft & pretty in all the colors used and your wonderful embellishments. TFS

Beautiful card Susan. My allotment has been very productive this year. Courgettes galore, potatoes, my onions are drying off too, lots of beans and beetroot. I have tried Butternut squash for the first time this year, and they are doing really well. Oh and I have loads of chillies growing in the greenhouse, haven't tried these before either, really pleased with them. Take care Sue x

Hi Susan,
I know I have already been by but it was on my mind to tell you that I think you've done a wonderful job at vintage. You wouldn't know that you find them difficult.
Leeds Museum is a good day out, lots of Leeds history, and other things too. A whole floor dedicated to stuffed animals which Bobby thought was fab.
It was Whitby today, another good day!
Happy crafting
