Cutie Pies Challenge 51

Happy Monday to you all, hope you have had a good weekend.  I just don't seem to manage much time for crafting at the moment with spending time in the allotment cropping the fruits of my labours and preparing the ground for next year.

A nice easy one for you all to join in with your cuties.  I have made this card for my cousins daughter , l emailed her last week to tell her l would be coming out for my first visit to New Zealand in 2015 - she mailed me back following day to say two pieces of fantastic news within one hour, her daughter had given birth to her first grandchild and l was planning to visit.

I have always wanted to go to New Zealand and finally made the decision and l will be travelling on my own, 2015 is a long way off but plans need to be made and pennies saved, l am so excited.

Take It Easy

I Wish .. to the title, there are just not enough hours in the days at the moment.
I hope you are all having a good weekend and managing to find some crafty time. I started this card last night and have only just managed to finish it off as l have been busy in the allotment starting to dig over where some potatoes and peas have finished. I pulled the first cabbage to go with dinner along with some dwarf beans and they were lovely, yesterday l made some cauliflower soup which was delish - all the tastier when you have grown it.

A Bit of Vintage

Welcome to my new follower Gina, lovely to have you stopping by.
 Hope you have all had a good day. We have had a grandchildren day - no surprise there lol. This afternoon l have had some time in the allotment - digging potatoes, a really good crop this year and nothing has been nibbling them. I have pulled the onions to dry off and picked some blackcurrants. The strawberries have finished so the beds need tiding up and runners pegging down - a job for tomorrow.
I made this card the other night and thought l would have another go at vintage which l find difficult so putting in a bit of practice.

Christmas Bunting

Hope you are all well and for those on holiday hope you are having a bit of crafty time.
This is Michael's second week on the National Citizen scheme - he was home for the weekend and has been having a fantastic time and enjoying every minute of it and l have to say he came home as a completely different teenager - no grunting and snarling, he was delightful - hubby and l are in a state of shock lol. Next week he should start the 30hours voluntary work part of the scheme.
Anyhow onto the card today - l bought this gorgeous stamp from the new release over at LOTV last week when l met up with Sam aka Whisper - Sam if you are reading this hope you have managed a play with your new goodies.  I decided l was going for blue with this one and started looking through my papers, this one was in a pack from Craftwork Cards l was not too sure about the yellow with it but am pleased l did as l quite like the combo.

LOTV Cute Fairy

Hello to you all out there, sorry l have not been around much the last couple of weeks, l have had a lovely holiday in a lovely cottage not far from Inverness and we were blessed with gorgeous weather for most of the week. Last week l have been catching up at home and looking after grandchildren.
Yesterday l went over to LOTV to meet a lovely blogging buddy Sam aka Whisper, we had a lovely chat and it was great to meet up face to face after internet chat for years, l also met the lovely H and Alan - Sam's OH.
I made this card last night after l was determined to have some me time.

Winter Wonderland Challenge

How the weather has changed since the last time l posted two weeks ago as l prepared to head off on my hols - the weather was glorious and this week it has been wet and windy - anyhow onto the challenge
The new challenge starts today over at Winter Wonderland and it is...Kraft, Red & White.

For my card today l have gone for a clean and simple layout and one that is perfect for standard postage as the ribbon is quite flat.
