Hope you have all had a good christmas and best wishes for 2017.  I don't really celebrate New Year so will be all cosy tonight watching a good film - could be Gone With The Wind or the original Wuthering Heights and maybe a glass of wine.

If you got new goodies for christmas this is a perfect chance to use them.  We are expecting Grandchild No.9 within the next couple of weeks so my card is ready to go.  A lovely generous lady sent me a new die - Thank you and hope you like how l have used it.

Allsorts Challenge 394/5

Hello, it is been a long time since l have posted as we have moved have been in a holiday cottage for a few weeks before our move into our new home last week - here at long last in Rafford in Forres, Moray. A 400 mile move. It has taken just over a week to unpack all our boxes and put everything in its place.

It is saturday again and that can only mean the start of the new challenge over at Allsorts.  This week my lovely teamie Brenda is the host and she has chosen

I have gone for the top row - Blue & Brown, falling snow stencil using structure paste with added glamour dust while paste was still wet, l distressed the edges of the blue card with a distressing tool. the baubles are dies from memory box with a bit of elastic cord  - job done.

I have not wrote a single card yet so need to get myself sorted and start christmas shopping on tuesday, l have never been so late with it but hayho.

My craft room is now all boxed up along with the rest of our house ready for our move. We move out 14th november and have to go into holiday cottages as our house won't be ready to complete until 5th dec so everything will be in storage - not ideal but it had to be done to get our sale through. No crafting for me until mid december at the earliest.
Just hope it is not snowing when l make the 400 mile journey on monday.

I have been taking a bit of a break from crafting and commenting but am now back and rearing to go.
I have had a lovely holiday in Florida but was relieved to be coming home a day before the hurricane.
We have been busy packing up our house ready for our move. Our house sale has been on/off a few times but looks like it is definately happening this time.....talk about stress. I am so looking forward to not having to make the 800 mile round trip every couple of weeks to help out with the grandchildren.
I need to spend the next week making my cards for the DT's before l pack all my craft stuff away....nightmare but exciting times.  I will tell you more about our new place when contract exchanged on my house here., l got my priorities in order ... a nice big craft room ;)
