Quick & Simple Does It

So if like me at the moment you are busy with the other things in our lives and crafting time is limited this challenge is perfect for you - l used a background piece that has been on my desk for a while and a LOTV pre coloured topper and just added some glamour dust and embossing powder.

My second card today is for the Midway Reminder for Penny Black & More @ Allsorts my teamies have some lovely inspiration to share with you - check out all the details and sponsors here.
The April theme is Birthdays and we have lots of lovely sponsors - l went for a fairly quick one for this too. I stamped the Iris in clear embossing and added fine detail white powder and embossed it then covered in distress ink, the white butterfly is also from a PB set and the purple butterflies are a Kars punch. I used a Martha Stewart Around The Page Punch for the mat and was quite pleased with it although the photo does not do this card justice.

A Little Playtime

Hello my lovely crafty friends, l hope you are all keeping well. It is a busy time in the garden and the allotment and l am managing to keep on top of things, l love being outside.
I am planning a trip to New Zealand at the end of the year to visit my cousin and have been looking at flights, tomorrow is the big day when l intend to book them - a long way to go on my own but l am looking forward to it, l know that if l don't go this year l may never get there.
 My mojo has been on walkabout at the moment and l just seem to sit in my craft room staring into space, so l gave myself a kick up the rear end and had a bit of a play with a stamp that had not been introduced to ink. I tried a different colour combo than l normally use for hair and l rather like it.  I am also trying to use my dies more. Have just realised l have not added a sentiment so will have to sort that.

You can go diagonal, vertical, horizontal or if you want why not go for the full house like l did.  Here is what l came up with, l bought this stamp when it was released and it has been sitting in the unused drawer ever since.  l loved making this one and it has already been delivered to the birthday girl, l was so pleased l did not do it in pink as her new fav colour is..... black, but she loved this too,
