Have you all had a good week ? We have been lucky to escape the heavy snowfall that a lot of Scotland has been getting - we only had about an inch, but it has been bitterly cold. Last saturday was quite pleasant and l managed to get out in the garden to do a bit of tidying up - no chance of that this weekend so l will have some time in my craft room playing :)

Craft Obsessions

This week l have seen the first sign that spring is on it's way with a few daffodil noses poking through the frozen ground. It is a good dry but breezy day and not a bit of frost today - yesterday was very white everywhere with a severe frost. I love looking closely at the frost and seeing how it has formed it is so pretty. So l guess today's card is quite fitting with snowflakes - a few customers yesterday said we are due more snow.

A Lovely Tonic Crafts die from Ruth

As soon as l saw this gorgeous stamp my sister sprang to mind as when she was a little girl she had a mass of tight curls - this will be her birthday card, she has never seen my blog so no chance of her seeing this. I loved colouring this and have only used 'E' copic colours for this subtle effect.

My project today was not what l had planned but this evolved over the last couple of days. A lovely friend is to become a Grandma this weekend, when Mum to be is induced. These days they like to know if it is a boy or girl - none of that in my day - Olivia Rose will be making an entrance into the world then this can go in the post. Hopefully everything will go well and they don't change the name.
