When l heard this week that David Cassidy had died l googled christmas songs David Cassidy and it showed White Christmas - so my theme was set.
I love this stamp and it makes such pretty cards.
On the note of White Christmas we had our first snowfall of winter on thursday with a good 4 inch and it is trying to snow again this morning - so long as the roads are kept clear as we are very rural and high up. Here is a lovely photo of my snow covered garden, l certainly won't be sitting out this weekend.

Have a good weekend whatever you are doing and hope to see you over on the challenge x Susan x

This has been one of those weeks where l have blinked and it has gone - you know the ones - you have been busy not having a minute to yourself but but seem to have got much done lol.
My husband got chatting to a lady a few months ago in B&Q he told her we had created a large border and where in the process of filling it and she kindly said she would have lots of free plants in autumn when dividing hers....so off he went on thursday and came back with the car packed full. You would have all laughed seen us planting them on thursday night by torchlight then finishing off yesterday. How kind and generous of a complete stranger to give us all those plants, her husband even dug them out for us. Stunning border pictures to follow sometime next summer !

Have a good weekend whatever you are up too and hope to see you over on the challenge x Susan x

Hope you all join in with our lovely challenge and you have a whole month so plenty of time.

This weekend l am hoping to finish all the bulb planting and garden tidying so the garden can rest over winter.  The weather has dropped colder now and we had our first hard frost on monday, time to wrap up and keep warm. We may go into town tonight for the bonfire with the grandchildren, we have a large park - Grant Park, which is used to host events such as piping, highland games and tonight it is the turn of the bonfire and fireworks by the Rotary Club which is free with donations welcome for next years event. The weekend weather is dry but cold so just perfect for my weekend activities.
Have a good weekend whatever you are up too. x
Hope to see you over on the challenge x Susan x
