A couple of weeks ago l pulled out some kraft card and decided it was time to start to use some of it up and have always fancied having a go at colouring it. I watched a you tube video which inspired me to make this. I stamped the flowers with clear versamark and embossed with white detail powder then coloured with my pencils. I was pleased with the result and hope you like it too

Hope you are all enjoying the scorching weather, not as hot up here in Scotland but still very nice. It stays light until well after 11pm, l think we only have a couple of hours of darkness....not that l plan on staying up to check, l like my sleep. Schools finish on 30th June here for 6 weeks and l am looking forward to that as l will be relieved of grandma duties as both parents work in education.... more crafting time for me :)

I am in for an exciting few days as my daughter and grandaughter Caitlin are travelling up this morning to have a few days with us, so big BBQ tomorrow, she says crossing fingers for sunshine.

What a week it has been, l have never seen as much rain as we have had since last saturday, we had a lot of local flooding, the next village down - Dallas, was cut off. Luckily we live on a hill so for us to flood we would expect to see Noah and his Arc passing by. Little Rosie was ill so we had her an extra day - 3 instead of 2 then hubby ended up in hospital with chest pains, fortunately no heart damage and just a lung infection. I was lucky to manage a few hours playing in my craft room mid week which l thoroughly enjoyed.

I am looking forward to a quiet dry weekend.

I bought this gorgeous Penny Black Stamp a while ago and today l am using for the first time and l can see me having a lot of usage with this beauty as it is a great one if you just want to sit a colour for a bit and nothing else is really needed to make a lovely card and perfect for postage too.
