Sorry if l have not been around to visit lately - l have been spending quite a bit of time outside in the garden and allotment.  The allotment is now all ready to go, the onions and broad beans are in, we just need some sunshine to warm the soil up for the rest of the veg.  Hopefully with the clocks changing tonight the lighter nights will impact on the temperatures.

Have l been missed?

Well, this is how my holiday went ............. grab a coffee and read on.....
Friday 13th feb hubby loaded the car with ALL our luggage - mine, his and our sons.
Saturday 14th feb 4.30 am Hubby decided he was not going on our caribbean cruise as he was petrified of flying (he has become more petrified as the years go on).  As you can imagine a few choice words came out of my mouth, Michael was in tears as he was looking forward to some golf in the caribbean with his Dad, he brought his case back into the house and on checking it he had actually brought mine in - can you image me arriving in Barbados with a case full of hubby's clothes .....
Being quite an independent person  and never relying on the male specious l set off for Manchester Airport.
I had the most amazing holiday ever - l went the beach on eight different islands and in Dominica it was the annual carnival which l watched, then walked to the botanical gardens all on my own and climbed the two hundred steps to the most amazing viewpoint.
.I went to a show every night after dinner, all in all it was  the best holiday and l can't wait to go again.....on my own :)

Another beautiful beach, this time in Barbados with the Hilton at the end, l walked all the way along.

Every holiday comes to an end but this one could have gone on a bit longer as P&O were offering cabins for £200 for two more weeks added on ...if only Michael had not needed to go back to college we would have stayed on.

Did l phone home...... no way.

Am l speaking to Norman.....just about, but will never book a holiday overseas to include him ever.

How much money have l lost......don't even think about it...
