Hello me lovelies, my internet seems much better today so fingers crossed it was just a temporary problem.  I am not too sure on todays card - l had a 'purple vision' as l have not used purple for ages and this little stamp from LOTV has been sitting in a drawer unused since the Harrogate show in March last year. Perhaps l had better get back to my mission to do some male/boys cards.

Balloon Bear

Good evening me lovelies, l have had problems with the tinternet again - very limited access at the weekend and today pages have taken ages to load. Talk Talk are our provider and l was beginning to think it was a problem with our connection but my BIL has had problems too - anybody else having problems??
I hope to be able to do some catching up when this is posted (fingers crossed)
All my cards seem to be girlie and l really struggle with mens/boys cards, l am on a mission over the next couple of weeks to make some male cards.
Bradford City's dream is over but the fans have done them proud cheering all the way though even though they were outplayed. My daughter & grandaughter had a fantastic time and enjoyed the occasion, City could even make it back to Wembley if they make the playoffs, l think they will just have to watch it on the tv if they do as it has been a very expensive weekend and it is my turn for a treat next lol.

Henry Mouse

Brrrrr it has turned back to winter and has even been trying to snow a bit today.
 A busy weekend ahead looking after the youngest grandchildren while my daughter and sil and eldest grandaughter go down to London for the weekend to watch Bradford City... Come On City, hope they can manage a win. Caitlin is so excited as she is in Manchester tonight to see Justin Bieber in concert and then up early tomorrow to catch the train then down to earth with a bump and back to school on monday :(

On with the card, l won this Whiff of Joy stamp in a challenge and this is the first time l have used it and these gorgeous papers are this years Stampin Up Christmas pack and they are all lovely so you will be seeing more of these. The silver german glitter glass is from Chloes it sparkles beautifully as the pieces are quite large they catch and reflect the light.

Hope you have all had a good weekend with lots of sunshine. I had a couple of hours in the garden on saturday just tidying up and a bit of cutting back.  On sunday l sat in the sun on my lappy for nearly an hour it was wonderful to get out in the fresh air, l went round to the allotment for the first time this year and dug a few leeks for soup and started to tidy the fruit patch. Just listening to the birds chirping was so peaceful with not another soul in sight - fantastic.

For He Who Can Not Be Named

Hope you are all having a good weekend and you don't have snow ...yet. Hope we do not get like the States are having at the moment.  We are having our family Christmas dinner tomorrow after putting it off the last couple of the weeks - 'The Big Bird' as my hubby calls it is now out of the freezer, carrots and sprouts at the ready, wine ready for the cooler .one of my daughters lives locally and can walk but my other lives at the other side of Bradford so l hope the snow will not be too heavy.

Anyhow... with all the love in the air at the moment l thought l had better get a move on and make 'the' card l will be giving, l bought this stamp in the sale at Crimson Cloud recently and it is just perfect for valentine, weddings and anniversaries. This is the first White card l have made and love the effect.

Penny Black Hedgies

We have had two bright but chilly days and it has been good to see the sun - my OH tells me it is all to change again at the weekend - back to the white fluffy stuff.  On sunday we are planning to have our family christmas dinner as l find it hard to celebrate christmas, we have already put it off a couple of weeks with the weather/ hubby man flu so l suppose if it does snow it will be a bit christmassy. I might even stretch to getting everyone a silly little gift if l have time.

On with the card - quite appropriate to the weather we are due. I have made this to fit the challenge over at ABC christmas where this week it is 'C' for Case the card and l have cased Lorraines (Lols) W for Winter Sports way back in. 2011, l just don't have the icicle punch although l would like i if l see it at a fair price. Hugs & Kisses

Hello me lovelies, l am doing well - another card this week.  I am really getting back into my crafting and enjoying it too, l am back visiting too and checking out what you have all been up to.  Today l am sharing a card l made with this gorgeous image - 'Hugs & Kisses' designed by the very talented Krista Smith (Saturated Canary), Krista very generously gave this image for free for 24 hours last week (thank you), she is still available to buy for $2.00. I don't have many digi's, as there is just something about having a piece of rubber in your hand and Saturated Canary do have a range available so no don't at some time or other they will jump into my basket.

I was a bit nervous about colouring her - l think it is the gorgeous flowing hair.

Cute Little House Mouse

Hello me lovelies, hope you are all surviving this wild weather.
I have really enjoyed making this card, it is a colour combination l would not have thought of using but when l saw it at Cupcakes challenge l thought this little cutie was just perfect and as l still had the paper pack of pink and greys out from craftwork cards so it all fell into place.  Brenda makes the most beautiful flowers from ribbon so l thought l would give that a try too. The dragonfly is a sissix  die l have had for years and never used and forgot about, l added some pearls to the body and some wire for antenna. I cut a frame using nesties and added it above the image

Never Too Old For Cupcake

My second post today.  I am hoping for a better week than last week, on thursday the strong wind blew my £130 out of the cash machine and down the road with not a hope of catching any of it (hubby was not impressed l can tell you). Last night while tidying my crafty things away l knocked my glamour dust tray all over the floor, l managed to spoon quite a bit back - a good job Toby was not aroud my desk or he would have been very sparkly.
Anyhow moan over....... welcome to my new follower Julie - l hope you like my blog and spot a few Stampin Up things along the way (Julie is a SU demonstrator).

On with the card, l have made this for my friend Carole's birthday and l thought l would get her a fancy cake to go with it - l think it is a special birthday but did not want to put 50 on just in case. I have used my new Memory Box Poppy die and can see this featuring on many of my cards, l cut the base with a scalloped grand nestie square die and folded it in half.
