Pines

Good evening everyone - the weekend starts here and it looks like an indoor one with this horrid weather.  Me thinks a crafty weekend is on the cards:)

I bought this set from Stampin Up a couple of months ago and have been itching to ink it up - the set has a poinsettia in too but l love this cone stamp and it is perfect for repeat stamping and can see it will feature a lot this year in my simple cards suitable for 'through the post cards'  The photo does not really do this card justice and looks much better in the 'flesh'.

Flippin Men

Mens cards are so difficult to do and l was asked to do some fathers days card and as all my monies go to charity how could l refuse?  Cutie ones l can manage but requested was a mature card, likes western movies and beer - first thought was LOTV lasso boy but then mature - not really so had to go with beer. I forgot l had these flippin stamps which l bought at a great red
uced price then just put them away in a drawer - perfect for the job and customer was happy with the card too.

I should be at a card group tonight but OH is out golfing and that just leaves me the taxi driver to take son to cadets and pick up, so at least l can do a bit of catch up on here.

Also managed to tie half of the raspberries up, if l remember l will take my camera with me and add a few photo's on here.  The birds have been very cheeky in pinching newly planted cabbages and beans on some allotments, someone even had fleece over then which the birds pulled off.  The site is locked but we could do with a giant net over it all lol.

Do you find that some days you just blink and the day has gone - today is one of those days. I started the day with loads to do and have hardly ticked anything off, so tonight is a flying visit. My niece asked me to make a card for a friend of hers to give to her Grandma who is celebrating her 80th birthday, l opted for a no image as l don't know the people or there interests, l just hope they like it.

I had big problems yesterday with my blog, l could view it but the bar at the top to access my blog had disappeared, l don't know if Mr Blogger has been playing up or if it is my lappy, after several hours trying to 'get in' l gave it up as a bad job. I could access it on my desktop computer but not my lappy which l use for crafting so l went to visit my expert this morning and she has looked at it for me but l have to use explorer for the time being - Thanks Helen xx you can always rely on your children to fix these thing (even though she is fast approaching 30 lol)

EDIT - Explorer is sooooooo slow so l apologise if l don't get around commenting but it is just taking so long x

On with todays card - these cute meeces are having fun with a hosepipe, no fear of a hosepipe ban here as it has not stopped raining all day and it is soooo cold but at least my allotment will not want watering today, l have covered the sweetcorn with fleece and l think l could do with a giant allotment size fleece  to cover it all to keep my babies (seedlings) warm  lol.
I have spent all afternoon colouring this image as it is quite large and every bit of it needs colour, l was'nt too sure how it would turn out but l am pleased with the result.
