Allsorts Challenge 407

It is saturday again and that can only mean the start of the new challenge over at Allsorts.  This week it is my turn to host and l have chosen
Anything But A Card
I would love to see what other crafty things you get up to - sewing, knitting, upcycling - anything crafty or creative.
Check out what my lovely teamies have to share with you here along with all the challenge details.

MDF Box from MDF Man
Furniture paint, adirondak ink
Stamps - Inkylicious, Lavina, Stampin Up
Dies Butterfly Penny Black, Flower Marianne, Foliage Joy
Gems, glamour dust, twine.

I decorated a MDF organiser box. First l painted it with furniture paint then when dry l used an ink duster brush to apply the purple Adirondak ink. Next, l stamped the sentiment and flowers ect and added the die cuts. A touch of glamour dust on the flowers. I added the twine to make a handle and secured it using a heat gun.
I made a friend a similar one last year in white as a gift but added colour to this one which l am going to keep.

We have been generously sponsored by my teamie Wendy and John with a stamp for the winner, we also have a second prize too.

Hope to see you over on the challenge x Susan x

Hi Susie, It's been a while since I dropped in, and I think you've changed your home since then too! Spotted your pretty face at another blog, so it reminded me to zip over to see what you were sharing. What a pretty little box, for recipes, for cards, many things. The extra details of covering the handle, the pretty dimensional flowers and the lovely stamped flowers...really a lovely project, and what a nice gift for a loved one. TFS
