I will be glad when this week is over - thursday last week l drove up to Inverness with my daughter for her second interview for a head teachers job, l drove back home on friday - Helen got the job and we are over the moon and so proud of her .
Since having my gall bladder removed four weeks ago l have had horrendous heartburn and managed to find time to go to docs this monday - along with my swollen and painful leg. The GP sent me straight to hospital with suspected DVT - blood tests were positive (could have fragments in my blood from op) and scan negative so l have to go back next monday for a repeat of scan, the long drive could have caused my right leg to swell 3cm bigger than left leg. GP also confirmed l have diabetes. On tuesday l had to go in for a general anaesthetic to have my 'lady bits' looked at but they sent me home because of 'possible' DVT, today l have been for my annual mammogram.
I am crossing everything that all is well as l travel to New Zealand in four weeks and really don't need all this. Sorry for moan xx

Hope to see you all joining in this week x Susan x

I loved making this card - so much so that  l made another 10 all the same as they were fairly quick to make.  I stamped the stag then masked him and stamped the trees in a sparkly embossing powder which does not show up too well on pics, l then inked the background. I cut a square out of another white card and mounted it over the image on foam to gve dimension. The flower is stamped on vellum, l used holly and  ivy  dies - also in vellum  with a touch of stickles. I inked the edge of the frame and added stickles for a bit of extra sparkle.
