Welcome to my newest follower Rachel, lovely to have you dropping in x Susan x
As my title post says 'Something Old' that is the gorgeous sentiment stamp l bought last year from Inkylicious -sadly the shop does not open to the public anymore (it is only a 15 min drive down the road) so l will be stocking up when l go to the Harrogate show in 3 weeks.  For those of you that thought it was me that was 'Something Old' shame on you lol.
I hope you are all having a good week and managing some crafty time - l certainly have and have even managed to sort out and re-organise some of my stuff.  Today l am sharing a wedding card l made yesterday - it has not been made to order but l just wanted to use the stamp, my niece gets married in June and l think l will us this stamp to make something special for her.  I think l quite like how this turned out with these papers as l did not have any wedding ones - if anybody can recommend some nice delicate wedding papers l would be grateful - thanks.

Hello my lovelies, l am pleased to say the internet provider changeover went very well and thus far we have not had any problems.  I have had a play with one of the Sugar Nellie stamps l bought last week - 2 down 6 to go.  I am also trying to use my dies more often as they have been very neglected :( l have also been trying to tidy/sort my paper stash and l have to say l am ashamed of the amount of papers l have - l reckon l have a rain forest in my craft room, certainly enough for my lifetime and there is me planning on which new LOTV packs l am going to buy, l think one is the answer to that x. You may have noticed l have been decorating the inside of my cards lately - now you know why, l really must use some up instead of stroking it all.

Sunshine Sunday

Hello my lovlies, how lovely it is to see the sun shining today and a feel of spring in the air too. I hope you are all enjoying it and hopefully it is going to stay like this.
With all this bad weather we having been having l have been having a little spend to cheer myself up - a couple of weeks ago l bought some happy hopper/gruffie stamp sets from Joanna Sheen at 3.99 a set, on monday l took advantage of the free postage at Crafts U Love and bought some Penny Black stamps, one hedgie stamp at half price and a lovely new transparency set with Mo's images on  which you will be seeing soon, then on thursday l ordered the two sets that are on offer at Sugar Nellie Funky Kits) as they were half price - so how could l refuse - l am a girl who loves a bargain :)

On monday my niece took some of my cards into work to sell and they all went within minutes, l always give 100% to Martin House Childrens Hospice as a bit of payback for all the support they gave to us. She works for one of the big banks and on fridays they have dress down day and put a bit away for charity and l was thrilled when she said one of the weeks will be for Martin House and they will do a bit extra and whatever they make the bank will match it - how nice is that.

The challenge at Allsorts this week is brads and as you will have seen from my previous post l do have a 'few' so have been using them on my cards the last few days.

This is using one of my new ones that arrived yesterday.

I  wanted to join in with the House Mouse challenge so l have had a  little play with one of the stamp sets l bought reduced from Joanna Sheen's a couple of weeks ago - this is my first Gruffie set and l am not 100% happy with my colouring but hayhoo it is the first attempt, what do you think??? Friday Feeling

Hello my lovelies, hope you are all keeping well and dry - l feel really sorry for all the people and animals living in the south of the country that are under water and taking a real bashing from the weather, there just does not seem to be an end in sight at the moment.  For those unaffected l hope you manage some crafty time this weekend.  I have an appointment with genetics in the morning (saturday) as there is a high risk of breast cancer so l am hoping for a bit of reassurance.

Anyhow - this is a card l made yesterday, l am not ashamed to tell you l stamped this up and went all cold and shaky - l have a fear of all things mice and tail, l love the House Mouse stamps don't get me wrong and think they are sweet but this one is quite large and when l stamped it all l saw was rat - l came around after a few hours and had a play and once l had chosen and laid out my papers and flowers it started to look ok.
