Winter Wonderland Challenge

Oh my these Fridays do come around quickly and here we are February tomorrow.
It is team Snowflakes week over at Winter Wonderland and this week we would like to see
Digi Days
Most of us have a few Digi's in our files we have not used - so print them out and use them.
We still have the option of non christmas for a few more weeks but l am keeping on track with mine this year.
For those that know me well l don't often use digi's - there are some fantastic ones to choose from and Kenny K's are included in that list, l just have an issue with printing them and having to wait for the ink to dry. I left this a bit late to print (should really have done it the night before) and l don't think the ink was quite dry so coloured it carefully with my copics and on this occasion did not use prisma's for shading.
The Design Team have been busy and have some gorgeous inspiration to share with you over on the challenge blog here where you will also find all the details

Kenny K Digi Image Santa Cookies
Coloured with copics
Papers Dovecraft Christmas Wishes
Ticket Whimsy Stamps
Ribbon

We have been generously sponsored by
Kenny K with 3 Digi's

.

AND

So two lucky winners again this time.

Thank you for stopping by and for your comments, hope to see your entry soon x Susan x

Whimsy Berry

Hello my lovely crafty friends, hope you are all well and keeping warm and dry. Sorry if l have not visited over the last few days - life has taken over my crafting a bit, although l have done some catching up with some of you.
We have been to visit our new grandson today and he is absolutely gorgeous with lots of thick black hair, l could easily have sneaked him in my bag and brought him home.  Our christmas dinner went well on sunday and the turkey soup is almost finished, l am pleased to say the turkey fit in the oven and cooked beautifully.
Onto the card - l made this one a couple of weeks back using my favourite christmas stamp - Berry by Whimsy, l just love colouring this image. I have added white puff embossing powder randomly to the image to give the effect of snow and a bit of white paint to the holly leaves. I hope you like it.

Hello my lovelies , looking out of the window the sky is a mucky grey and it is drizzling but as a family we have had a sunshine moment this week - my stepdaughter gave birth to  our 6th grandchild - (her 3rd). William - to be known as Will was born on wednesday morning. both are doing well  although Nicola's blood pressure is a bit high so she is not home yet, we are looking forward to cuddles this weekend.
We are having our family Christmas dinner on sunday as we have a very quite and reflectful day on christmas day, 9 of us will be sitting down for dinner which my hubby will be cooking - turkey and all the trimmings. l forgot the sprouts on my shopping delivery so have got those this morning. l bought 2 bargain Norfolk Bronze ,turkeys on christmas eve they were £45 reduced to £11 in Tesco. one for sunday and one for Easter, l just hope it fits in the oven otherwise l will have to buy a saddle and ride it around the garden lol/

Butterfly Wreath

Good afternoon my lovelies, hope you are all well.  Well it certainly has dropped a few degrees over the last couple of days, l am snuggled up with me fluffy bodywarmer on - until the next hot flush comes along lol - although l don't know what l am laughing at, they are very unpredictable and frustrating.  Toby is snuggled up on the settee too having his afternoon nap :)
So, the card today is using a stamp l bought last year from Chloe's called Butterfly Wreath, l stamped on white card and heat embossed with sparkly silver powder then did the same on a good quality thick vellum then coloured the butterflies on the reverse with copics, cut them out and stuck to the wreath - they are so sparkly l love them.  I think l will use this again to decorate a box sometime soon.
I am not sure what is going on with this photo but it is just pants.

If your Mojo has gone walkabouts over the festive season then the design team have some gorgeous pieces to share with you over on the challenge blog here

I have used the new stamp l bought over at LOTV last week - James Daisy, oh he is so cute. The quality of these stamps are brilliant with a good deep rubber which gives a very good impression.  I also bought two new dies - the dragonflies and leaves on this card. When looking through my stash for a matching flower l found these l bought years ago when the company was selling off Green Tara - perfect match, l spritzed it with a pearly cosmic shimmer but the photo does not pick it up, the centre is wood, l bought these in a few different colours.

Hello my lovelies, hope you are all well and have had a bit of crafty time this week. When l saw the new challenge at House Mouse l wanted to join in the fun, it has been quite a while since l have used a House Mouse stamp so l blew the dust off the unused stamps, picked this one out and introduced it to ink, it is one of the stamps l bought from my friend Angie a long time back - (if you still drop by Angie l still have a few more to use up).  I have also decided l need to use my dies more as they are just sitting in a box as well.  So here it is - hope you like it, l have been a bit adventurous and the lace and butterflies are off the edge - l keeping seeing cards with parts off the edge and they always make it looks so pretty but l find it hard to do this - same as placing paper at angles lol.

This is a card l was asked to make by my cousin and l really struggled with a suitable image but once she said traditional it made it a bit easier and it all fell into place.  I kept it fairly simple and decorated the inside to match and she was please with it.
