My Little Sanctuary: Happy New Year

Good evening everyone, hope you all had a peaceful Christmas and best wishes for 2013. My christmas was quiet with the exception of boxing day when our daughters and husbands came along with our 5 grandchildren, it is the only time they are all together. Our eldest grandchild Caitlin celebrated her 10th birthday this week too and tells me she feels very old.
On christmas day l took Toby for his first walk which felt special - l took him over the road to the cemetery to my son David's grave to have my quite time alone. Toby is now fully recovered and the vet is very pleased with his recovery, thank you for all your kind messages.
I have not spent much time in my craft room lately and need to get back into it, l have made this card for an old friend who moved last year so may not have received my christmas card as it went to her old address. A few weeks ago l saw a beautiful card using this Penny Black stamp and l remembered stamping it then covering it in beads - it took me three hours one day when l had no mojo but just needed time away on my own and l never made it up into a card so it was perfect for a New Years card.
