Playing with poppies

How rude of me not to welcome my new followers. Hello and welcome and thank you for your lovely comments - hope to get round to your blogs shortly x

Good evening everyone - hope you are all doing ok.  Why is it when one thing goes wrong everything else follows - my camera batteries went at the weekend and l thought l had some new ones stashed away, after searching ages l must have been mistaken....Then.... my printer is playing up after a few days of trying to get it to print clearly (going though all the printer maintainence settings several times) l have given up, it is very faded and there is approx one third of the black ink left and colour is almost full, l have used Tesco brand this time instead of Kodak and l am wondering if that is why.  Then..... my hubbys car is in garage after going for MOT yesterday and it needs brakes etc (£410 later) replacing and is not yet ready and he had a day golfing arranged 60 miles away and has my car so l can't get to supermarket .

Think calm Susan......... yes.... holidays next week .....calm........nothing else can go wrong.

Brenda inspired me to get out all things poppy -Played with these gorgeous Poppy stamps from Lavinia stamps and decided not to make them up as cards as l am going to make some calender books as christmas gifts and these will do nicely. The small cards are little gift cards and l made some envelopes to match.

Distress ink background, stamps inked with SU pens and glamour dust added randomly

Poppy stamped and embossed with white embossing powder, Distress Ink background poppy, Inkylicious butterfly stamped on card and added red glitter then on acetate for dimension

SU stamp inked with SU pens and scalloped punch. SU card and paper. Envelope made to match ,

Thanks for stopping by and you comments are appreciated. Sorry if l have not managed to get round to you all x Susan x

Love your poppies! Gorgeous colours and fab design.

Could be the ink brand in your printer causing the problems. I have an Epsom printer and bought a black Asda brand cartridge - it wouldn't print anything!! Went back to the named brand and all was well again!

Good morning Susan,

Well at least that is three things that are broken, so hopefully you'll be on an upward role now.

Simply beautiful pieces of artwork using those lovely poppy stamps, to pick a favourite very difficult but I do think the little notelets and matching envelopes just clinch it, they look so very elegant.

Thank you so very much for taking the time to join in my little fun poppy challenge, you can't imagine how happy it has made me think my friends joining in.

And I may even have meant roll, still a few little recognition anomalies to sort out with this new programme.
