Yesterday was my nieces 21st birthday - l love her to bits but could not be bothered at all yesterday so got hubby to ring and apologise. First thing this morning l got my act together and made her card. This is the first time l have used this stamp and it is so Abbygail even down to her new hair colour. Why are the young ones paying to have theie hair grey???? Mine is totally grey at 50 and l don't mind it at all. She is having a party on saturday with a champagne reception but am not sure if l am up parties just yet.
I enjoyed colouring the image, there is something theraputic in it. I hope to drop back this evening and catch up on some blogs but please forgive me if l don't as things still very difficult at the moment, there is not an hour goes by where l don't miss David x

Hi Susan
Your card is gorgeous and the image coloured beautifully.
I am sure it will take quite a while for any sense of normality to kick in and for anything to feel "important" any more .. .. you can only do what you can do.
Take care and keep colouring and working that allotment!!!
Love Jules xx
Lovely card Susan. Crafting is good for the sole! Take care, Jx
I can't imagine how hard it must be. As Jules said, you can only do what you can do. I'm sure Abbygail will adore the card, it's so pretty!
*hugs* Mags x
Susan be kind to yourself sweetie, each day will be different and you just need to go with the flow.Abbygail will understand, and she will just love the card and would not be expecting you to feel like making one at all. Most other people would have resolved to buying one, so don't beat yourself up xx
Huge Hugs Mau xx
