Samuel Taylors Challenge


After 2 days of fog l am glad to see the back of it. Had a busy day today with HW as the 2 littlies did not come today - they have sore eyes and so have l so the drops are in ouch. I am so looking forward to Harrogate on saturday for the papercraft event, l have booked a morning workshop with Julie Hickey from Craftwork cards. I always enjoy Harrogate as it is not too far for me about 45 mins on a quite run. If anyone sees me with christmas stamps or papers tell me to put them back as l have loads l have not yet used. I have a small list lol

My sister starts her Chemotherapy on monday and more bad news this week my cousin (l only have 4 all female and on my mums side) also has breast cancer and started her chemo last week. Double prays required. x

Spring is here today


The frost has gone and it is beautiful here today - hope you are all having some good weather. Had a relaxing weekend away but have a very hectic week ahead, we have the two little grandchildren here today then l shortly have to take our eldest lad for a college interview this afternoon dash back for tea then the other to take to air cadets and collect again later and looking at my diary my whole week is going to be like that.

Anyhow I won candy and l am so excited my first ever win - Thanks Mina will look forward to making lots of cupcakes with the dies. Also an early birthday pressie - l will be 50 on sunday.

Penny Black challenge over on do crafts - l set the challenge as an Easter card, ribbon and flowers. I just love this image and have used it in full for this card , in the past l have cut the bunnies out and placed them over hills also have used just the first 2 bunnies.

Charity Cards for Easter


Hello to you all. Icy cold wind here today and sleeting this morning. Looks like l will need to pack woolies for my weekend away.

A fellow crafter on do crafts has appealed for Easter Cards for children at Matin House Hospice and l was only too pleased to help out. I have made a set of six all different. Did not use the stamps l had in mind as l bought this set from the Forever Frinds range and wow so many stamps for my £7.50, will have to have a look at the rest in the range as l like value for money.

Hello Everyone


Another bright and sunny day today once the morning frost had cleared - not quite spring yet but should not be too far off now.

Not had time to play today as the 2 littles have been here but l have a class to go to tomorrow and l ordered the new Copic E Set today - it will be here tomorrow Yippee.

I have been looking at this stamp regularly since l bought it last year not having the confidence to use it but at last it saw ink last week and l just love the image as it shouts christmas don't you think??

Less is More Wk5


What a gorgeous day it has been today - the sun has shone all afternoon, it makes you feel so much happier . I even went around to my allotment for the first time this year - my little bit of heaven around there it is so peaceful, still had sprouts and lots of leeks and the last cabbage came home with me. Spreading the mucky stuff time now so need to get on with that.

The card:-

This is for the Less is More challenge which is now on wk 5 and the theme is pastel colours, not too sure this will show up with my camera.

This card took 15 minutes then l spent over 1 hour on choosing papers for my next card which is no where near finished.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge Wk 140


Could not wait to use my new stamp as soon as l got my mitts on it. Ordered it on wednesday afternoon and it arrived thursday morning. I love it and am sure it will be getting lots of use.

The challenge over on PB saturday is Pearls and Lace and the design teams cards are as stunning as ever.
