Christening Day

Hope you have all had a good weekend whatever you have been up to.  I managed a bit crafting as the weather has not been too good for gardening. - My greenhouse is bursting at the seams and when l went in this morning to open the door l did a little routine check and can you believe a snail has helped itself a couple of my swede seedlings, l looked under seed trays and found it - lets just say it won't be fine dining in my greenhouse again.

Anyway l am here to share a card l made for my grandaughter Grace's christening which was today - our family is a bit complicated (hubby's daughter's baby)/ Grace has four Grandma's.
A story to tell..... l met my hubby 22 years ago, l was out with a friend as he was with his friend Bob and he has not seen his friend since soon after we met - until today at the christening. Bob's son is the father of Grace now isn't that amazing.

Stunning card Susan. I do so hate it when you find slugs and snails munching on my plants....working hard in the lottie at the moment, got a weeks holiday from work this week, so hoping to get lots jobs done. Sue x

Congratulations on your new granddtr. What a delicate & perfectly feminine image...so sweet. It's perfect with the S/B oval you chose, one of my favs. Love all the embellies, and that pink is a beautiful shade too. Enjoyed hearing the family story...TFS. Isn't life truly stranger than fiction? So glad you folks got to see each other at a happy gathering. TFS & Hugs
