Merry Christmas Quickies

Hello my lovelies hope you have had a good weekend.  I must say mine has been rather pleasent - l have managed some more quick christmas cards - ideal for posting which l will share with you this week.
After all the miserable weather we have had this week today has been lovely so l have had sometime outside - a couple of weeks ago l bought some packs of tulips from M&S that had been reduced - 24 for £1.25 l got two packs and managed to get them planted today, so we should have a good show of bulbs in the spring.  The snowdrops are already poking through the soil and l had to be really careful when hoeing, l am hoping the weather stays dry this week to get a bit more done
Anyway l am here to share these quick cards l made a couple of days ago, I used my fav background stamp - Cover a Card snowflake.  When l looked for a snowflake die l did not realise l had so many - note to self do not buy anymore snowflakes you have enough to create a snowstorm lol.

Stamp Cover a card Snowflake
Ink Stampin Up Cherry Cobbler
Die - Memory Box
Gems, stickles, glitter paper, twine

I have quite a few MDF pieces l want to decorate - could anyone please tell me what you use to paint them before decorating???
I have half my christmas shopping done and wrapped and l am going shopping tomorrow, hopefully l will get the rest done and then it will be time to sort out cards and start writing them out, hope you all have a good week x Susan x

I always coat MDF with Gesso first, but equaly a couple of coats of acrylic paint works, whatever you have really Susan, it's just to seal and give a base.

Your bulbs sound a bargain and yes things are poking their heads though and a couple of our Winter shrubs are already blooming, it's all this mild weather.

Lovely warm Christmas card.
